Chicks: from fertilization to birth

First, the rooster climbs on top of the chicken.

Then, the rooster passes a liquid containing  sperm to the chicken, from his penis to her vagina.

Thirdly, this liquid that contains a sperm
enters the ova and fertilizes it.

After the ova is fertilized, the exterior of the egg is strengthened with the calcium of the mother chicken’s diet.

The eggs develop over three weeks and are laid by the mother chicken at the end of the 3 weeks.

The chicken keeps the eggs warm for           21 days.

After the 21 days, the chicks break their eggs and enter the world.
